Greenford Gospel Church, Greenford
"Working with Church Pages was a very pleasant experience. In terms of the website it was a very fair price. I felt very supported along the way when I had to ask questions about it. It's running really well and it met our needs. It really makes a difference when you have a modern, practical and professional website in our days, and churches should accompanying the development of the world in this area of communication." A big thank you to Heather and the team."
Telma Morais, Greenford Gospel Church, Greenford
Greenford Gospel Church is a friendly multi-cultural Christian church that meets in Greenford, North London. In Summer 2017 the church was considering updating its website so that it could be found easily on mobile devices, and so that it could be used as a tool to reach the local community.
Greenford Gospel Church became aware of Church Pages through an introductory email from us. Telma contacted us to see if we could be of help to the church and after this initial conversation decided to that Church Pages was perfect for her church.
How the website was designed and built
Greenford Gospel Church had looked at the Church Pages' templates and felt that the Boaz template was perfect for their needs. It was modern and engaging, and also had space for the bible verse that they wanted to feature on their home pages, as well as links through to the different sections that they wanted to promote.
The finished website has the following features:
- A welcoming home page that is engaging with clear navigation.
- A home page that identifies the church as Gospel centric.
- Sign up forms for joining the church on mission.
- Sermons that are downloadable.
- Google map so that the churches can be found easily.
- Link to social media..
On completion of the site we provided training to Greenford Gospel Church so that they felt confident to edit the site themselves.
What else did Church Pages do?
To help Greenford Gospel Church's website to be found online we added optimisation tags for each page of the website and filled in the structure data settings for Google. Piwik web stats were added to the site so that the number of visitors could be seen along with what actions were taken once the site was clicked on.
How did the website switch from the old one to the new Church Pages website?
As with most of our churches Greenford Gospel Church wanted to keep their email where it was, and so we asked them to change their domain name's A record to Church Pages' IP address and we added in the relevant aliases.
The Team at Church Pages were very pleased to have been able to help Greenford Gospel Church to have a new website and is encouraged by the feedback that we have received from the church.
