Dormansland Baptist Church is a friendly church based in village of Dormansland, Surrey. Being active in the community and attracting members of all ages the church wanted a responsive website that better reflected what they do, and was appealing to people in their village with young families.

Dormansland Baptist Church got in touch with Church Pages after receiving an email from our Team.

How the website was designed and built

Dormansland Baptist Church knew that they wanted a template that enabled them to upload sermons themselves, but was also simple and easy to manage. In the end the site that was created was a combination of the Caleb Church Pages Design Template and the Eden Church Pages Design Template. After discussion with the Church Pages' team Dormansland gathered images and copy, and swiftly sent through all the information that we needed to create the site. It was good that Dormansland are blessed with great photographers who were able to supply excellent photographs f.

The finished website has the following features:

• A welcoming home page that can be easily edited and shows clearly where the church is located.
• Sermons uploaded that can be searched by filter.
• Information on Sunday services and what activities take place during the week.
• A footer with contact and quick links.

We provided training to Judy so that she could confidently edit the website herself, and provided help so that sermons could be eaily uploaded.

What else did Church Pages do?

As always we optimised the website by adding optimisation tags and linked the website to the church's Facebook page. Web stats and a Secure Certificate were also added to the site.

How did the website go live?

Dormansland Baptist Church had transferred their domains for us to manage, which we did for them, so going live was easy to facilitate.
