St Pierre Du Bois Church, Guernsey launched its brand new website last month with Church Pages. And with the benefit of stunning photography the site looks beautiful, yet welcoming.

When we design and build a Church Pages website we begin a journey with the Church, and through this we become passionate about the Church's mission and what they are hoping to achieve. This is what happened when we worked with Adrian Datta, Rector at St Pierre du Bois (also known as St Peter's). Hearing his story, and the story of St Pierre's congregation, we caught a glimpse of his heart for Guernsey, and we worked diligently with him to design and build a website that reflected his vision.

Not having a website meant that we started from scratch with St Pierre Du Bois. The Church works very closely with Holy Trinity, Guernsey and having seen their website they wanted something similar. Being an historic church it was important that this was reflected in the design of the site, whilst ensuring that web visitors immediately could see that the church was warm and welcoming.

Adrian was happy to take our lead on what template would suit the church best and we settled on the Boaz template. We were so incredibly blessed to be sent fantastic photographs taken by a professional photographer. This is always of help because good images that work responsively help to make a website welcoming, and this certainly was the case for St Peter's site.

It took some time for all the copy to come together, but this is not unusual for a Church Pages' website because normally the person gathering the information has other things to do. However, with a little bit of help along the way from a member of the congregation, we were able to create the website that Adrian and St Peter's were hoping for.

Once the site had been optimised, and the domain changes made, we launched the site in August and have had positive feedback about it ever since! And this is the feedback that Adrian gave:
