North Manchester Deanery Church Website Goes Live

25 July 2019 13:20

Church Pages are delighted to have helped not just one, but 14 different churches have an online presence through launching the new North Manchester Deanery website.

The North Manchester Deanery is a worshipping community of 14 different Anglican churches across North Manchester. Describing themselves as ordinary folk with all the quirks and foibles you'd expect the Deanery began the process of working with us to create their website earlier this year. The purpose of the website was to help the people of North Manchester to find their local church easily and to get a better understanding of what support was available. The churches within the area are actively involved with providing services that benefit the folk who live there. From debt and benefit advice, mental health support, and winter night shelters the Deanery is at the forefront of caring for the community.

As with all Church Pages' websites training was given so that the site could be expanded with more information when the Deanery wants this to happen. The Directory of churches can be expanded to enable visitors to find out what precisely goes on where at each church.

Despite staff changes the website was completed relatively quickly once the Deanery had someone to spearhead the project, and North Manchester Deanery gave us the following comment:

"Church Pages have helped us to set up our new North Manchester Deanery Website.  They have been there to help all the way through the process and made things very easy for us.  The training videos were very helpful, as was the training session with Heather.  We would definitely recommend Church Pages to any church hoping to set up a website."
