The team behind Church Pages have launched an exciting new Christian card and postcard website - Encouragements - with the aim of (you guessed it!) helping Christians 'encourage one another daily and build each other up'.

Encouragements sells a selection of Christian postcards and Christmas cards which are designed to bless your recipients with laughter and joy. 

Why did we launch Encouragements?

We all know the power of an encouraging word from a friend (or even stranger!) when it comes at the right time. As friends we found ourselves writing encouraging words (on post-its or little postcards) to each other and thought, why not make these crazy doodles from our hilarious minds available to others, who may understand our special sense of humour!

We love how the Bible can make a real difference in people's lives but also find that many people struggle to engage (or even laugh) with scripture. The Bible says we're to 'encourage one another and build each other up' and this doesn't have to be anything fancy – simply a postcard can do that.

Encouragements is our way of sharing our love of the power of scripture, in a humorous way.

MADE TO SHAKE IT 🧂💃🏻🎉 This postcard is our cheeky take on Matthew 5:13 where Jesus talks about us being the ‘salt of the earth’... Salt - we all know when it’s missing and can relate to searching for it to add onto our meals (chips yesss) - but doesn’t this mean the world misses out if we aren’t all we are called to be?! GODS FAVOURITE 🥰🙌🏻 Sunday morning bliss writing postcards and drinking peppermint tea (if God had to pick a favourite tea, it would be peppermint for sure) This card was actually inspired by my Mum who always says she is Jesus’ favourite with a cheeky wink. I remember her praying for parking spaces when we were kids and assuring us that the Lord has a place prepared for our large Honda estate because, she was His favourite. And she was always right. It is amazing to think of all His favour on our lives, even down to parking spaces in Sainsbury’s. How incredible. So, we thought we’d make this bold reminder to share Mum’s wisdom.
