Information from UK cybersecurity sector and Europol has shown that hackers are taking advantage of the Covid-19 crisis. According to research attacks have increased in number and sophistication. Therefore if you want to add an extra layer of security to your church login, you may want to add two-factor authentication.

2-Factor Authentication uses a second device, such as a smartphone, to verify the login. This means that even if your username and password are compromised, your 2-factor code will stop someone else logging into your account. 

If you are concerned about someone gaining unauthorised access to your church login:

1) Change your password to a long (>10 characters), with Upper, lower, numbers, symbols etc.

2) Use a reliable password manager (eg 1Password) - these can also generate very long passwords

3) Setup Two-Factor Authentication for each of your users
